Every credential listed below is active, current and verifiable. Insurance certificate, W-9 and signing agent profile available to title companies and law firms on day one of account setup.
Appointed by the Governor and commissioned by the Massachusetts Secretary of the Commonwealth under M.G.L. c. 222. Active commission maintained continuously since 2007. State journal recorded for every notarial act. Commission verification available on the Secretary of the Commonwealth’s public notary database.
National Notary Association Certified Signing Agent designation with annual examination, annual background screening per Signing Professionals Workgroup standards and active Errors and Omissions insurance. The industry standard required by title companies and lenders before assigning loan signing packages.
Active E&O insurance policy maintained at all times. Coverage certificate provided to title companies, lenders and law firms on request. E&O insurance protects clients, lenders and the signing agent from financial loss due to errors or omissions in the notarization process.
Annual background screening per Signing Professionals Workgroup (SPW) standards, the same screening standard required by Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and major title insurers for all signing agents. Background report and screening certificate available to approved title companies and lenders.
Active surety bond as required under Massachusetts notary practice. The bond provides a financial guarantee to the public that the notary will perform notarial acts faithfully and in accordance with M.G.L. c. 222. Bond certificate available on request.
Bachelor of Arts in Business Management. The business background informs how Hanson runs every client engagement: fee transparency, clear communication, on-time arrivals and professional documentation that meets lender, attorney and institutional standards.

Growing up in East Boston, one of Greater Boston’s most diverse, working-class neighborhoods, gave Hanson a deep familiarity with the communities he serves: immigrant families navigating legal documents for the first time, first-generation homebuyers at closing, seniors needing estate planning handled with care. That background shapes every appointment.
I grew up in a neighborhood where people needed help with official documents and had no idea where to turn. Being the person who shows up, at your kitchen table, at the hospital, at the closing table, and makes that process clear and dignified, that is what this work is about for me.
Born and raised in East Boston, one of Greater Boston’s most diverse communities. Knows the streets, neighborhoods and community rhythms of Greater Boston and the Merrimack Valley firsthand.
